Lucy Flammer - The Mermaid
Lucy has always loved mermaids and the ocean, it is her goal to share her passion with people of all ages. She believes that everyone deserves to live out their dreams, no matter how wild. She had her first mermaid tail at 8 years old, hand sewn by her mother.
When Lucy was 20, she started her professional training. She took her first PADI mermaid courses and became certified in both PADI Advanced Mermaid and PADI Basic Freediver. Now, just a few years later, she has become PADI Mermaid Instructor and Emergency First Responder.
Lucy is constantly looking for ways to improve her skills and continue her education. She would like to advance her freediving skills and become SCUBA certified.
Gavin Flammer - The Merwrangler
Gavin is Lucy’s husband and merwrangler.
Gavin has always had a love for the ocean and the wildlife that it holds. His early childhood was spent with long days at the beach enjoying open water swimming in southern California
Gavin helps Lucy in her training as her safety both on land and in the water. He is in the works of becoming certified through PADI to become a professional freediver and instructor in the near future.
What is a merwrangler? - Merwranglers help mermaid performers in any way they see fit. They help with transportation of the mermaid and are responsible for the overall safety and well being of the performer.
